A convertible baritone guitar with separate outputs for the bass and top strings was used to play chords and basslines simultaneously during the first minute.
*-2-* OldMcDonald had a farmMore fretless guitar tones used here for all the melodies and lead parts, engaging an additional piezopickup, DIY electronics mixed with yesterday's commercial stompboxes, a slide and an E-bow (intro). Chords and basslines were played simultaneously again on the same instrument mentioned above from 00:22 - 00:42 and from 00:58 - 01:33, during which you are hearing the sounds of just 2 guitars and drums.
